Weather reports move through systems. Their differences should not disappear between them.

The service was created to make the collection, timing, preservation and comparison of aerodrome weather messages easier to inspect. Its focus is the path a report takes and the evidence attached to it—not producing an alternative forecast or replacing an official meteorological source.

Technical focus

A narrow operating brief.

Terminal Weather Services is being developed for teams that operate, integrate or evaluate aviation-weather data flows.

01 / Observe

Distribution paths

Compare when and how the same observation appears across approved upstream paths.

02 / Preserve

Message evidence

Design evidence handling around exact TAC, source timing, revisions and fingerprints so findings remain explainable.

03 / Evaluate

Integration behaviour

Support feed evaluation, incident review and migration work without presenting a pilot briefing product.

Designed for aviation data providers, airline and airport technology teams, flight-planning platforms, integration teams and researchers evaluating METAR distribution.

Independence and boundaries

Clear about what the service is—and what it is not.

Independent

Terminal Weather Services is independently operated. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the Aviation Weather Center, NOAA, the US National Weather Service, MET Norway, ICAO, any airport or any meteorological authority.

Not an official source

Source names identify the public distribution paths used in the technical preview. Their appearance does not imply a commercial relationship or endorsement.

Non-safety-critical

The service is for data observability, analytics and infrastructure evaluation. It is not a consumer weather application, pilot briefing service or system for aircraft navigation, communication or control.

Private technical preview

Evaluate the service in a defined pilot.

Pilot discussions are intended for organisations evaluating aerodrome weather distribution, evidence retention or feed-verification workflows.
